I got sick. A slight case of the fever, which really was hellish for me because I NEVER get sick. I've got great metabolism despite my unhealthy way of life. xD

In any case, I'm glad to be back and rid of that nasty bug. I'll be catching up with everything as soon as humanly possible. Although I'll be taking a short break once my Dad has finishesd baking brownies. :3 Mmmmmmm~ brownies~

First of all, sorry I haven't been responding/replying to anyone lately. I have been stalking your entries, reading them like a ninja when you weren't watching. :> It's just that I guess certain things keep distracting me and in the end I can only put out the strength to just read what everybody's been up to... ^^;

That and I don't seem to receive email notifications. Is it just me, though? So if I incidentally skipped something urgent just give me a holler and I'll come running!

That said, I heard about a new LJ change from my sister... about account levels.

Also, it seems certain interests have been taken out of the popular interest section: and funnily enough 'fandom' is one of them.


I'm just not too happy with LJ at the moment...

The oldyear started out lousy with us awakening to firecrackers getting stuffed through our door... and other things not worth mentioning right now. Anyway, joyful time or something. I don't feel it, really. Sorry. And I'll get to replying as soon as possible, promise!

EDIT: One of our cats did a number one and two in our bedroom. This promises to be a great new year!

I finally got around to posting my NCIS icons. I want to make more, but three icons in one day is more than enough for me. I think I burnt a few braincells doing the 'between life and death' one... x_X

Well, at least I got to watch a few new NCIS episodes. Still fourth season but it's new to me. =D Especially with a certain comm gone, I don't feel like watching all the eps on my comp just yet.

I also caught up with my modly duties at 2x5obsessions. I feel very accomplished indeed. =) I'm thinking this deserves a reward: Meme Time.

Um, I've tried to catch up on my flist, but I'm... tired. It's-- I think I might have to cut back on some things/communities. Just looking at that thing makes my eyes pool. TAT

I also added my new icon/graphics journal to my profile and updated my userpics. I'll have to start doing some cutting tomorrow then, both to my communities and my interests. Well... I at least have to include DBZ. It's only nice. ;P Oh, I also thought about trying NCIS icons again. Yay~ I've gotten better at the anime front, now live action needs to be given another spin. Hope it'll work out.

Okay, I'll be enjoyng a nice, relaxing shower now. Maybe the cold is making me tired...

I was just minding my own business browsing through my flist when all of a sudden Doc yelled at me pointing at the TV screen, "Hey! Shouldn't you watch this?"

I turned and saw to my great surprise, Robert Vaughn, playing The Nanny's James Sheffield -- Sheffield Senior, Maxwell's beloved daddy. And I'm beginning to think the only reason they asked him for the part is because of his hair. ;P His British accent was... hmmm, can't find the proper word. I actually expected James to be an American. I hoped James was going to be American.

But enough about the accent, Robert looked pretty good! Seems he had loads of fun on the set since he couldn't keep from smiling and grinning. ^-^ Nice to see him again.

Now, about Torchwood. I've caved. I've decided to give it a try -- I didn't know it was going to air here as well... I know nothing about Dr. Who, but I've heard that won't pose a problem. The only challenge will be trying to stay awake 'till 22:30. =__= I got up way too early today because my Grandparents wre going to pay us a visit and we needed to straighten up the place before they arrived.

...I'll be terribly disappointed if this episode doesn't feature any slashy goodness. ;P ((OR pterodactyles!))

I SURVIVED THE 4TH NOVEMBER LJ FALLOUT!! RAWR!!

With a new rainy season comes a new golden layout. I thought it high time to start adding some actual content to my profile. So I did. =D What does everyone think about it? I'd love to hear comments, especially from the people who work with a 600x800 screen resolution. I never stopped to think about people with different settings than my own. I hope my choice of layouts isn't screwing things up for anybody.

...I'm actually feeling proud about my achievements concerning my profile layout. I've still got my HTML-CSS-fingers! Yeah!

Ah, you also might have noticed the change in journal layouts. I honestly forgot all about that Style Contest and therefore never bothered to check out that particular section. Turns out there were some awfully beautiful styles to choose from! Very pretty, very cool. Once I get a seperate account for my fanworks I'll definitely 'steal' the Note Taking one. Although the Top Secret style's perfect for anything MFU-related. =3

On a different -- television-related -- note, NCIS and House have 'changed' timeslots! Now, instead of NCIS getting a double episode on Thursdays, one of those eps got moved to Monday evening. {I really like the BGM of the commercial announcing the new timeslot. It's got quite a beat!} House gets two episodes a week now, instead of just one. On Thursdays and Friday, right after Medium. =D Nice~
